Also made m bed, and brushed and flossed twice. Did not get any applications sent out however. Also, watched the first movie for my other project which will be up some time tomorrow.

Today, I shall begin again. I've started slow in the new year, making my bed every day, brushing and flossing twice daily, eating less. Now, to get back on a workout plan, and start searching for a job.

Wasted Days Off

I took today off from work, since my birthday is in two days. And what did I do with the day? I spent it playing Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda on my 360. And now it's tomorrow already and that's all I did all day. And yet I don't feel bad.

Everything changes

I just read that Ziff Davis sold the 1Up series of websites and EGM to UGO, who then immediately fired the majority of the staff and cancelled the magazine. That sucks.

I've been enjoying 1Up as a place to get video gaming news, but more so as a great website full of Podcasts. They had the site set up for a at least a podcast a day, Monday through Friday. 1Up FM starts the week with news, games, letters, and Backlog, where the hosts play through a game that you might have missed, and you play along. It was what finally got me to dust off the unopened copy of Beyond Good and Evil and play it. Good game. The rest of the week had a sports' podcast, a podcast spotlighting a game series with Retronauts. They also had their computer games podcast, and their WoW podcast. And it all ended with the Friday 1Up Yours. 1Up Yours is a great podcast, one which the guys from /Film admit they used as the basis for their own podcast. And now, with the majority of the people who worked on the podcasts fired, and UGO unsure of what they will keep or do, a chunk of my work drive, and even some of my work day will be changed from how it has been for the past year.

Hopefully, everything can sort itself out and I can still get some fun stuff to listen to when in the car, or bored at work, or just playing a mindless game that doesn't require me to listen to it.

But mostly, I feel bad for all the people who settled back in to work after the holidays, just to get told they were going home, see you, hope you have someone else who can pay the bills for a while because you are ghost.

They talk about killing people via enchilada, and when you attempt to return the favor, they just talk about their hate of Mexican food. Silly people.

After ECW last night was bed. Today was work, Jersey Mike's for lunch, with assholes not asking if I would like eat in or to go, and giving me a small drink, and giving me a receipt without telling me to sign it. Then. Chicken cordon bleu for dinner.

Still on page six of SMRZNPs, but only 15 strips left until #100!

*Attempts to kill Fabian via enchilada*

Picked up The Machinist and Versus on DVD. One's a fun ultra-violent romp through the woods. The other is an interesting tale of a man sinking into insanity. Also bought the new Coldplay CD, just to mess with Alex on the trip. Other that that, nothing. A whole day of nothing.

I finished emptying the trailer at work, had some pizza for lunch, some pizza rolls for dinner. I fell asleep around 6ish, woke up at 7:30, and thought it was the next morning. But it was Friday! Did I still have to work one more day this week? I know I put my hours in. I can't work another day! But it was PM, and the weekend is to come. *whew*

And the Road Goes On

(Never mind, I found the problem. There was an image from one of the quizzes on my page which was linked into an account that needed a password apparently.)

Work continues to be "fun" in the sense that it sucks. But there will always be other things around to help out. Such as movies and friends. Still, it's beginning to get on my nerves. I am afraid that to find a job away from retail and physical work I will have to do that which I have feared the most. I'm going to have to search for a job out of town, out of state. I probably could find a place to work, and it would be easier, even if I would not be making that much more, just because I work would not be so draining in the way that it is now. The worst part of what I currently do is coming home with my feet aching and my knees in pain. Sometimes, I find it hard to even get to sleep just from it.

But where to go? The options seem to be big cities. And while I enjoy cities, they don't always seem like the most fun. But what can I do? Stay where I am currently at, or try to find a job I could maybe use to turn into a career? Experience, that's what everone needs, and that is what I don't really have much of. So, I will need to get that experience.

Wish me luck people. I'm going to think about this long and hard, and then I'm going to either act, or shut up about my job. But something needs to give. And it will give soon.

My Star Trek movie

The generator is here: http://www.geocities.com/phineasbg/tngplotter.html

Star Trek:Deception

Written By:Ronald Bryan

The film opens with some credits that make the audience's eyes hurt.

After the credits, we see a green spirit floating out of a person. This confuses the audience to no end.

Next, we cut to the Enterprise. Throughout the movie, the ship interiors are filmed too dark to see things clearly. On the Enterprise, we see the TNG crew. They are on the holodeck playing Street Fighter 2. During this scene, Picard complains about having to kill someone.

There is an incoming hail, where Picard is instructed that Picard and the TNG crew must escort some prostitutes out of the Crab Nebula and to Tatooine. Thus, beginning their mission.

When they arrive at this mission, Data starts transforming into other members of TNG crew.

This scene abruptly switches to a scene involving Worf battling with Scorpion ! This scene could have been very action-packed, but is very short, unfortunately.

Later on, Picard finally finds out that that he and the crew have been entered into the Mortal Kombat Tournament and must either win or have Outworld take over, and thus the plot of the film finally begins.

As the crew work toward resolving this plot, a member of the TNG crew talks to Khan, though this person doesn't really help anything.

Then, Shao Khan, the film's obvious bad guy, is revealed. But Shao Khan is not REALLY that bad, because this villian just wants to rule all of creation.

The crew then learns that Kitana's Realm is in grave danger! They must come to the rescue!

While they are working on this rescue, Data sings 'Mortal Kombat.' The audience groans.

A little later, Worf loses his pants in a battle with Bo Rai Cho and then gets thrown up on. This ticks off many Worf fans in the audience.

Later on, Troi, who had nothing else to do in the film, has lesbian sex with Sonya rather than fight her.

A little later, Data rips off Kano's head with his spine still attached, and then tries to hold a conversation with him. The audience doesn't laugh, however.

Trying to resolve things, Picard and his Away Team beam down to the sand. Which looks almost cinematic, but not quite.

Crusher and Geordi do absolutely nothing for the duration of the film.

Soon, the Voyager crew gets earwigs implanted in their ears to battle TNG crew in Mortal Kombat. This seems verrrry familiar to the audience, for some reason...

Then, for no reason, someone in the film says 'Fuckin' A!' Nerds in the audience think this is cool and edgy.

Finally, the crew discovers that Shao Khan has a soul collector! This makes the situation very dangerous!

In reaction to this, one of the crewmembers says 'YOU are finished!' ...even though this makes no sense.

In their attempts to stop Shao Khan, Riker whips out his knowledge of kung fu in a wire-fu battle with Lui Kang. This looks really cool... but doesn't stop Shao Khan.

Soon, Riker shoots at Sub Zero. But this doesn't help anything.

There is a final showdown in a nebula called the Shinnock Crack. Almost defeated, Shao Khan, in a fit of rage, attempts to activate his soul collector! Time is running out, so Picard beams over and attempts to stop him.

Eventually, Picard violently and mercilessly kills Shao Khan by uppercutting his head off, three times. Picard is almost killed in the process, but luckily Jax saves Picard at the last moment.

Later, Picard contemplates on what has happened. As a result of this mission, Picard has resolved his problems with having to kill someone. Picard then gives a speech about killing your friends for the greater good of saving the universe from tyranny.

The TNG crew then beams back to the Enterprise, which warps off into space.

The TNG theme plays on the soundtrack.

THE END
